Where sales markets live

Sales markets are recorded on their own page: open Operations → Sales Distribution from the sidebar. You do not add a country on the SKU edit form. Net units sold per country drive your EPR obligation — you report where you SELL, not where you import.

Add the US (or any country) to a SKU

  1. Open Operations → Sales Distribution from the sidebar.
  2. Click + Add sales row.
  3. Fill in the form:
    • SKU (required) — pick the product.
    • Sales year — the year the sales belong to.
    • Country = US (required; lowercase like us is auto-normalized).
    • Optionally: marketplace (e.g. amazon.com), units sold, units returned, first sale date and notes.
  4. Click Save.

Many SKUs at once (CSV)

Use Import CSV on the same Sales Distribution page — one row per SKU × country × year. Columns: sku_code or asin, sales_year, country, units_sold, units_returned, marketplace, first_sale_date, notes. Existing rows (same SKU, country and year) are updated, not duplicated.

US sales activate Prop 65

Recording US sales for a SKU activates the California Prop 65 module for that SKU — its chemical screening results appear under Prop 65 in the sidebar. See the how-to "Run a California Prop 65 assessment" for what the statuses mean and when a warning label is needed.
