Create and sign

Generate a DoC from a packaging type (Packaging → the packaging row → generate DoC). The draft pulls in your importer, packaging and material data. Review it, then sign — the signed PDF is stored permanently and its content can no longer change. DoC generation requires a paid plan; on the Free plan existing DoCs stay readable.

One Active DoC per packaging type

Each packaging type has at most one Active DoC — the latest signed one. Signing a new version supersedes the old one automatically; superseded documents remain in the archive.

Verification link and QR code

  • Every DoC gets a permanent document ID (DOC-…) and a public verification page. Anyone scanning the QR code or opening the link sees the current Active document status.
  • Links to superseded versions automatically point visitors to the current Active DoC.
  • The verify page confirms integrity against the exact signed PDF bytes.

Hosting and retention

Public DoC links stay live while your subscription is active. If you downgrade or cancel, there is a grace period, and a one-time hosting option can keep existing links read-only without unlocking new DoC generation. DoCs are retained for 10 years to meet PPWR record-keeping duties.
