European Union · EPR
Italy channels packaging EPR through CONAI and its material consortia. Producers pay the Contributo Ambientale CONAI (CAC) and must add environmental labelling to packaging.
CONAI membership is required for businesses placing packaging on the Italian market.
Declare packaging via CONAI (monthly, quarterly or annually depending on volume).
